Education – The greater equaliser
Schools cannot close the education inequality gap alone.
1 in 5 young people live in material poverty in Ireland. This has significant short and long term impact on education, health, social and economic outcomes as poverty reproduces in the same way that privilege does.
Free education for all should be the great equaliser in our society, but how can we have an equal Ireland when access to additional support is shaped not by need, but by eircode and income?
At JumpAgrade, we work with post-primary schools across Ireland to remove the barriers to education, levelling the playing field of opportunity for young people.
Partnering with JumpAgrade provides a wide range of benefits for your school and your students. We can work with you to provide personalised supports, boost your students' grades, raise their aspirations and improve their future prospects.
Our programme is proven to improve a young person's chances of getting into college. 82% of our students progressed to higher education in 2024 compared to 42% national average of students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

"jumpAgrade has made a huge difference. The cohort of students we have do not freely have access to additional support outside of school, so this programme enables them to achieve and ultimately facilitates their progression to college. This type of support for us is essential."
Colaiste Mhichil
"It has been a fantastic resource for the two students who have availed of the programme this year. It has increased their confidence levels in sitting the Leaving Cert exams and increased their chance of achieving a higher grade in the particular subject."
Carrignafoy Community College
"They are more confident with the course material. They are not as stressed or anxious about their leaving cert exams in their choosen subject. The 1-1, notes and feedback given by the mentors has enabled them to study better and keep on their subject at a higher level. I feel that this programme is invaluable to the students."

At JumpAgrade, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. Our programmes have made a significant impact in schools across Ireland, helping students achieve their full potential.
Through tailored support and resources, we empower schools to create an environment where every student can thrive. Our Boost and Thrive programmes have been instrumental in enhancing student engagement and academic performance.
One of our standout case studies is St. Mary's School, where we implemented our Boost programme. The results were remarkable, with a 30% increase in student participation in extracurricular activities and a noticeable improvement in academic results.
Another success story comes from Greenfield Academy, where our Thrive programme helped reduce dropout rates by 15%. The school community reported increased motivation and a stronger sense of belonging among students.
We are proud to share testimonials from teachers and students who have experienced the positive changes firsthand. "JumpAgrade has truly changed our school for the better," says Principal O'Reilly. "The support we received was invaluable."
Our impact is not just numbers; it's about the stories behind them. Each student we help is a step towards a brighter future.
Looking ahead, we aim to expand our reach and continue making a difference. With your support, we can bring our programmes to more schools in need and create lasting change in the education landscape.
Join us in this mission. Together, we can ensure that every child has access to the quality education they deserve.
